What is Frogfoot air?

Frogfoot air is an entry-level WIFI-only fibre solution. A device that gives you a taste of the Fibre experience at a lower cost. The available speeds are 10/1Mbps and 20/2Mbps and there is a limitation of 2.4GHz band spectrum, supporting up to 10 devices in your home.

How do I upgrade and downgrade my service?

If you have a standard Frogfoot service already installed in your home and would like to downgrade to Frogfoot air, you can simply place a new order for air. The equipment will need to be replaced with a new Frogfoot air device.

If you would like to upgrade from Frogfoot air to a standard device, you can place an order with your preferred internet service provider or directly on the Frogfoot website. We will simply enable the ethernet ports on the equipment and your ISP will need to send their router.

Are there any additional costs involved?

The standard installation fee includes a distance of 30 meters from the boundary box. The contractor appointed by Frogfoot will be able to advise and guide you through any additional relevant costs involved if you require more than 30 metres.

What do I need to be aware of?

The position of the Wi-Fi equipment can influence the Wi-Fi signal strength.  These interferences can be thick walls, microwaves, or homes that are larger than 100m2.

How many devices can I connect to the Wi-Fi?

Not all devices can handle a high-speed connection, oftentimes the newer, higher-quality devices (laptops, phones, TVs and gamming consoles) can support faster internet speeds but will cause interference with the Wi-Fi signal strength. You can connect up to 10 devices on this service.

What is the difference between Frogfoot air and the standard Frogfoot products?

The Frogfoot air product is an entry-level WIFI-only fibre solution. The available speeds include a 10/1Mbps and 20/2Mbps. If you have more than 10 devices to connect and require more speed, we would recommend that you upgrade to a standard Frogfoot package. This will allow you to connect multiple devices while streaming, working and enjoying online entertainment.

What do I do if I have connectivity issues?

Your Internet Service Provider should also be your first point of contact. If the problem is on Frogfoot network, the Internet Service Provider will make contact with our support team for assistance.
